Each client establishes her own agenda. Together we look for ways to meet those goals. Coaching takes place weekly in 50 minute sessions – on the phone or in person. With the client leading the way, we collaborate to find the best ways to move through projects and remain grounded and relaxed. Through a series of techniques we explore what gets in the way of the work and seek out ways to stay on task. At the end of each session I email an ACTION LIST to the client – a reminder of the tasks the client has agreed to work on between sessions.

CREATIVE LIFE-LINE COACHING CIRCLES
In this group coaching model, a small team of clients gathers with me every other week for two months. Our format begins with a brief mindful breathing meditation, followed by a brief client check-in. Each session contains an overview of one of the Creative Life Tools - designed to help artists move through their work without burning out. This is followed by extended client coaching: where one at a time, group members discuss current blocks and issues with me – while their peers observe. The session ends with each client establishing goals for the following session. This powerful method of coaching manages to be individual and community based. Clients will find insight in the process and will connect to other like-minded artists.
Creative Life Line Groups happen in teleclasses and in person.

WHY AREN’T YOU WRITING PLAYS? – This 3 Hour Intensive contains everything I know about writing a play! Balancing a philosophical approach with in-class exercises, the course allows participants to discover the secrets of creating a character and using dramatic structure, try out those new techniques and to read their work aloud. The course also covers the challenges that writers face when reading their work, and establishes guidelines for making (and hearing) comments about the work – with a special section on how to establish a writing consistent writing practice. (Can be adapted for small groups or one-on-one study.)
